March 6, 2012 Primary, Early Voting Information
Vote Early January 31, 2012 - March 2, 2012.
There are two ways to vote early:
1. Vote Early by Mail
2. Vote Early in Person at the Franklin County Board of Elections
Vote Early By Mail
The Franklin County Board of Elections will not automatically mail the ballot application to registered voters in Franklin County. You must request a ballot application.
Request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you by calling the Franklin County Board of Elections at 614.525.3100 Monday - Friday from 8AM - 5PM.
Absentee Ballot Applications can also be downloaded from the Franklin County Board of Elections website. You must print the form and mail it to or drop it off at the board. For the fastest processing of your ballot application, please send the form to: Absentee Department, Franklin County Board of Elections, P.O. Box 18211, Columbus, OH 43218-2111.
Absentee ballots must be returned to the Franklin County Board of Elections:
In Person: by 7:30 PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 (Election Day)
By Mail: postmarked no later than Monday, March 5, 2012

Vote Early In Person
Early Voting in person begins January 31, 2012 and ends on March 2, 2012.
Early voting will be held at the Franklin County Board of Elections office at 280 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215 on the following dates:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM January 31, 2012 - March 2, 2012.
Weekend and Extended Hours:
Friday, February 6 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM (primary registration deadline)
Monday, February 20 from 8:00 AM - 5 PM (President’s Day)
Saturday, February 25 from 8:00 AM - noon
Friday, March 2 from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
