Columbus Democratic Legislators to Host Working Families Town Hall Tour

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Heard (D-Columbus) along with State Senator Charleta B. Tavares (D-Columbus) will host the Working Families Town Hall Tour in Columbus on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 6 p.m. at East High School.

This town hall meeting will focus on Senate Bill 5, which proposes to eliminate collective bargaining rights for teachers, police, firefighters and all state employees.

Reps. Heard, Weddington, Stinziano and Senator Tavares will be available to the media.
