
Marco Miller
State Representative 20th Ohio House District
Marco Miller was born and raised in the 20th House District. He served in the Air Force and is a Vietnam combat veteran. He spent the next twenty-five years working in the Columbus Division of Fire, including leadership positions as a Fire Lieutenant and directing personnel in the 911 call center of the Fire Alarm Office. Also, he served as the Officer in Charge for the Office of Community Relations, working closely with city officials and many community groups.
While serving in the Columbus Division of Fire, Marco Miller was elected by his peers to the position of President of International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 67. While serving as President, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Capital University. Later, he was elected to the Groveport Madison School Board and also served as President of the Board. Community organizations include the Knights of Columbus, the VFW, American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was named Legionnaire of the Year from the American Legion Post 283. In addition, Marco Miller has served on the Franklin County Democratic Party Central Committee for over 20 years.
Marco Miller has been married to his wife Barbara for 38 years and has four children and 11 grandchildren.
