• Received National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal for service during Operation Desert Storm
• Received Naval Reserve Meritorious Service Medal for Naval Reserve service
• Achieved rank of Personnelman Third Class (E-4), Received Honorable Discharge
