Bullying
Recently the Ohio Senate overwhelmingly approved House Bill 116, a bill designed to strengthen schools’ anti-bullying policies. HB 116 requires that school districts educate students on policies prohibiting harassment, intimidation, and bullying. The law defines “harassment, intimidation, or bullying" to be any intentional written, verbal, or physical act that a student has exhibited toward another particular student more than once.
It's good to know that Ohio's children are mandated to treat each other with the respect and dignity that every human being deserves. Now, if only our lawmakers could work on passing anti-bullying legislation for a much different population: political candidates.
Think.
