The disgusting and false pretenses for bringing a law suit against the President of the United States of America must stop.
The flawed legal theory that the House of Representatives can bring a suit based upon injury is both ludicrous and contrary to what our founding fathers so tirelessly fought for.
The President of the United States of America is within his rights to dutifully execute the Constitution of these United States of America, execute the laws that the Congress brings before him and finally to represent the common good to the citizens of these United States of America.
Whilst there is no true constitutional validation to executive actions, there is a legal ruling that closely resembles this case. In all evolutions of legal theory the Supreme Court is the final ruling body of law. Dames and More v Regan is the perhaps the final disclosure on executive actions. The Supreme Court found that the President of the United States of America is within his legal rights to invoke executive orders.
The free thinking American people are being duped by Boehner in his ridiculous misinterpretation of the law. Perhaps Boehner doesn't actually understand that the Legislative bodies duties are too legislate. Not only is this law suit contradictory to what the House of Representatives have been trying to do - repeal the Affordable Care Act - it seems like now after 52 times they would like to speed up the implementation. Many people have asked why did Boehner pick this particular item? Because he has to satisfy his Tea Party base.
Boehner knows that there is no legal standing, the ultimate fear truly is, with a Supreme Court so jaded, and leaning so far to the right, they will try and withdraw the President’s powers even further.
If the Republicans in the House of Representatives would do their collective jobs and legislate instead of obstruct, the executive orders would not have been necessary.
The only thing that this law suit is doing, is stalling more legislation from happening. I think we all should understand that this is fear and racism at its finest. Is this directed at the President? Somewhat yes, but we do not need to rehash these arguments the real racism is towards the electorate. The face and demography of the United States of America is changing. We are no longer a predominantly white nation, as the Republicans try and use fear mongering towards Muslims, Latino’s, Hispanic Americans, native Americans, Asian Americans, African Americans and now Arab Americans.
Race bating is a tool that is continually being used to dupe the American people on the 24/7 news cycle. By continually keeping the country in perpetual gridlock, they keep the electorate in a state of confusion. The old white congress is no longer very white, nor is the country. The latest stunt by House Republicans gives than an off ramp instead of legislating. Please remember that the same House Republicans that are so obtuse, shut down our government. The continuous fear mongering keeps the country from moving forward and keeps the American peoples business from getting done.
They are afraid of their base so they will not move on equal pay, job creation, immigration reform, student loan reform, financial reform and of course day to day general legislation.
It is okay that Republicans and Democrats do not see eye to eye, that is what we the people do, we agree to civil discourse we come to agreement and we move on.
No party platform will appease the entirety of the electorate, but when you have a very few of the country on the fringe right dictating to the moderate Republicans, centrist Democrats, and liberal Democrats, we have a big problem.
At this point, the only thing you can do besides becoming outraged, is to vote in this midterm election. Make sure every Democrat and Independent you know is voting as well. If we falter again like we did in 2010, I fear for the end state of these United States of America.
